Year 4 visited the British Museum today as part of their topic on Egyptians. They looked round at the various statues, studied the hieroglyphics and the mummies. They thoroughly enjoyed their trip (including the train journey!) and came back full of interesting facts. Of course their behaviour was wonderful too!

Well done to our football team who took part in the local schools football tournament at Sauncey Wood on Tuesday. Despite having to play in extremely wet weather conditions they played with boundless enthusiasm and energy and of course their behaviour was exemplary! Thanks to Miss Collier and Mrs Hills for accompanying the team.

What is Swishing?!
Swishing is shopping without the guilt. We bring nice, clean, presentable clothes that are lurking unloved in our wardrobes, and other girls fall in love with them and give them a good home.
How swishing works:
- Simply bring your unloved items of quality women’s and children’s clothing to Emma B in the Lea playground, at 3:20pm on Tuesday 21st May.
- Everyone is then welcome to come and browse these items from 7:30pm on Wednesday 22nd May.
- You will have half an hour to browse / try on before the swish opens.
- As soon as the swish is declared open, everyone may take what they want for a small price of £1 – £5.
- There will be wine & soft drinks available for you to purchase while you shop, chat & get to know each other.
ALL MONEY RAISED WILL GO TOWARDS NEW IPAD TYPE TABLETS FOR THE SCHOOL…. SHOPPING & ENJOYING AN EVENING OF CHATTING WHILE RAISING MONEY FOR A GOOD CAUSE …. WHAT MORE COULD A WOMAN WANT?!!
