The Lea School Association (PTA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm on Thursday 3rd October in the school hall. This is an open invitation to all parents and carers of children who attend the Lea Primary School and Nursery, the school staff and members of the Governing body. The current Committee will be giving a short presentation of the events run in the past year and how funds raised are supporting the school and our children.
A new Committee will also be elected. We have received new nominations for the position of Vice Chair and the current committee have indicated that they are prepared to stand in their existing rolls for another year. However, if anyone else would like to be considered please email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org before 27th September 2013.
This is a great opportunity for new parents to come and meet existing families and find out how you can help the PTA support the school.
