A reminder to SAVE THE DATE for our 3rd and final Lego Exhibition, which will be held on Saturday, 26th September to tie in with the schools 40th anniversary next year.
Our Leavers’ Assembly today was an emotional and reflective time for our Year 6 pupils and their parents and carers. It was an opportunity to wish Year 6 the very best for the future as they move on to secondary school. We will miss you all!
KS2 SATs have now been verified and we are delighted with the results. Very well done to all our Year 6 pupils!

The team with the most team points this term was Emerald.
Well done to Emerald who were rewarded with a fun time playing on the bouncy castle in our school hall today. (Typically, it chose to rain so we were unable to set up on the field!)
It was lovely to see so many children attend the school disco last Friday. Everyone seemed to have a great time.
A big thank you to all the parents and staff for their help in ensuring the evening ran smoothly. A very special thank you to our DJ, Christine Whyte, and to our Y6 Photo Booth photographer, Helen Carter. The evening raised just over £300 for the school.
Shortly before half term, Young Enterprise came to our school to spend a day with Year 5.
Since then, the class have been setting up and developing their own businesses. They have engaged in market research in the school and are now inviting parents and carers to come to their Young Enterprise Market taking place in the school hall next Thursday from 3pm.
All profits made are being donated to various charities chosen by each of the 5 business groups in Year 5. Please do come along and browse their produce and don’t forget to bring your money for any purchases please!
16 July Update:
Year 5 turned the school hall into a buzzing market after school today when they held their Young Enterprise Market to sell their wares from the businesses they have developed over the past half term. All profits made are being donated to various charities chosen by each of the 5 business groups in Year 5.
Thank you to everyone who came along to support the children. Jane Needham from Young Enterprise also came along to visit the market. She was very impressed by Year 5’s produce. Well done to you all.
