Rocket Seeds Experiment

Over this half term, Year 5 will become science biologists by taking part in an exciting national UK-wide experiment to observe and record the differences found between plants that grow from rocket seeds on earth and those that have been sent into space. The children will not be told until the end of the project which seeds are which and they will be putting their results into a national database.

The seeds have been sent as part of Rocket Science, an educational project launched by the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and the UK Space Agency. It is hoped the children will be inspired to think more about how we could preserve human life on another planet in the future.
