We are asking for your help in creating a new vision for our school. So we would like you to think about what the words LEARN, ENJOY and ACHIEVE mean to you.
Parents: please give one word to describe each part of our Logo – one for ‘Learn’, one for ‘Enjoy’ and one for ‘Achieve’.
Children: either design a poster with words and/or sentences which you think best describes life at our school; or write a description for each part of our Logo, choosing the words which most stand out to you, in sentences which you think best describes life at our school.

It has been an unusually quiet week at school, due in part to Year 6 being on their residential trip to Caythorpe. I have received a number of updates from Miss Lincoln and Mrs Cross about the wonderful time the children are having. They are certainly being kept busy and will no doubt return to school later this afternoon feeling rather tired but happy after their exciting and fun-packed time away!
I would like to congratulate Year 5 who have had a fantastic week as the oldest class in school. I have been very impressed with their mature attitude when carrying out their various ‘Year 6’ responsibilities. Well done Year 5!
Thank you to all our staff who have been teaching Year 5 this week while Miss Lincoln and Mrs Cross have been away with Year 6; to Mrs Beuscher and to our teaching assistants, Mrs Davenport, Miss Khatun, Mrs Marzola and Mrs O’Donnell.

On Friday 8th July the PTA will be hosting a parents fundraiser social BBQ at the school from 7.30-10.30pm. More details to follow, but in the meantime line up your babysitters and save the date for a fun night out! (Like the Quiz Night this is an adults-only evening.)

We held our Growing Up Online workshop this afternoon for Key Stage 2 pupils and their parents/carers. It was a very informative session on what is clearly an important subject for both young people and their parents in today’s world.
We hope those parents and carers who attended found it useful.

Reception gave their class assembly this morning all about ‘pets’.
They displayed and described the pets they had made in class. They showed off their P.E. skills by moving like pets and also showed how they had learned about money in Maths by pretending to buy pets. They also sang a lovely pet song. What a talented class! Well done Reception.
