January 31, 2017

Our netball A team played a home match against Sauncey Wood this afternoon. They showed great determination and team effort right up to the final whistle. The final score was a 6-5 win to The Lea! Well done girls.

Thank you to Miss Weston for umpiring, to Mrs Davenport and to our supporters!

PTA Family Film Night

January 31, 2017
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold last Friday and came to watch The Secret Life of Pets. It was a fun evening which the children really enjoyed.
A big thank you too to those parents who helped out on the night – we couldn’t do it without you. The evening made £160 which will go towards creating a wildlife area by the outdoor classroom.

Roald Dahl Dressing Up Day – 9th February

January 20, 2017

As a special celebration of Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday, we are planning a Roald Dahl Book Week from 6th to 10th February. Year 1 and Year 2 are visiting the Roald Dahl Gallery in Aylesbury, while all classes in Key Stage 2 are visiting the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden.

As part of the week, we are holding a Roald Dahl dressing up day on Thursday 9th February. All pupils are invited to come into school dressed up as a character from any Roald Dahl book. You can be as creative as you want, but please do not go to any unnecessary expense!

School Gateway

January 20, 2017

A large number of our parents are now using our School Gateway to make online payments to the school. You can pay for school dinners, all school trips, music lessons, Breakfast Club, etc. – this is a lot simpler and quicker than having to write yet another cheque or finding the correct cash!

All you need to do to register is go to https://login.schoolgateway.com, click on new user and enter your email address and mobile number (these must be the same ones that you have provided to the school). Then click on the ‘send PIN’ button. You will then be sent a PIN number by text message to enter. You will then be able to access your child’s details. After registering, you only need your email address and PIN number to log in.

As easy as that!
