It will be a little quieter in school next week as Year 6 go off on their residential trip to Caythorpe. I am sure they will all have a fantastic time. Miss Weston, Mrs Cross and Mrs Dada will be accompanying the children. We look forward to seeing Year 6 back in school after half term.
Year 6 have certainly been lucky with the weather this week for their residential PGL trip to Caythorpe. They have all had a fantastic time and I’m sure, once they have caught up on their sleep, they will be full of happy memories of their time away.
A huge thank you to Miss Weston, Mrs Cross and Mrs Gibson for accompanying the children on their trip.
It will be a little quieter in school next week as Year 6 go off on their residential trip to Caythorpe. I am sure they will all have a wonderful time and come back happy if not rather tired!
Miss Weston, Mrs Cross and Mrs Gibson will be accompanying the children – no doubt they will come back a little tired too! We look forward to seeing Year 6 back in school after half term.
It has been an unusually quiet week at school, due in part to Year 6 being on their residential trip to Caythorpe. I have received a number of updates from Miss Lincoln and Mrs Cross about the wonderful time the children are having. They are certainly being kept busy and will no doubt return to school later this afternoon feeling rather tired but happy after their exciting and fun-packed time away!
I would like to congratulate Year 5 who have had a fantastic week as the oldest class in school. I have been very impressed with their mature attitude when carrying out their various ‘Year 6’ responsibilities. Well done Year 5!
Thank you to all our staff who have been teaching Year 5 this week while Miss Lincoln and Mrs Cross have been away with Year 6; to Mrs Beuscher and to our teaching assistants, Mrs Davenport, Miss Khatun, Mrs Marzola and Mrs O’Donnell.
From what has been reported to me, our Year 6 pupils have been having a fantastic time at Caythorpe this week, although I think they are likely to come home rather tired this afternoon after all the activities they have been taking part in throughout the week!
A huge thank you to Miss Lincoln and Mrs Cross who accompanied the children on the trip. I think they are likely to be coming back a little tired too!
