PTA AGM – Mon 18th Sept, 7.30pm

The Lea School Association (PTA) will be holding its (very informal) Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm on Monday 18th September at the school. This is an open invitation to all parents and carers, the school staff and members of the Governing body.

The AGM is also when new Committee Members are appointed so please come along and show your support!

Drinks and nibbles will be served.

The Lea School Association (PTA) will be holding its (very informal) Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm on Monday 26th September at the school. This is an open invitation to all parents and carers of children who attend the Lea Primary School and Nursery, the school staff and members of the Governing body. Drinks and nibbles will be served. Please do save the date and come along!

The AGM is also when Committee Members are appointed and this is done by election. The current committee (Sue Stevens – Chair; Emma Burden – Vice; Anna Chapman – Treasurer; Emma Lambert – Secretary) have all done it for a number of years and it would be great to get some other parents to take a turn. Anyone interested in putting their name forward or wanting to find out more about the Committee roles please speak to Sue, Emma B, Emma L or Anna in the playground or email leaschoolpta@hotmail.co.uk.

We would like to thank the parents, staff and governors who attended the AGM last night. We are pleased to confirm that a new Committee was elected for the 2014/15 academic year:

We would like to thank the parents, staff and governors who attended the AGM on Tuesday evening.  We are pleased to confirm that a new Committee was elected for the 2012-13 academic year:

A massive thank you to Emmanuelle Bentley-Sanders, Sharon Gooding, Caroline Pearce and Mariangela Milioto for the incredible amount of time and energy they have spent whist serving on the previous committee.  You will be missed!
    
The new Committee will be holding its first meeting on Wednesday, 26th September at 7.30pm in the school staff room.  We will be planning what events we are going to run over the coming months and agree our fundraising goals to support the school with their request to replace the Y2/3 and Y3/4 interactive whiteboards.  Every penny we raise goes straight back into the school to make our child/ren’s environment and learning experience a better one.

All parents, carers, governors and members of staff are welcomed.  Please do come along – it is all very informal and we are always looking for new ideas!

The Lea School Association (PTA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 18th September in the school hall.  This is an open invitation to all parents and carers of children who attend the Lea Primary School and Nursery, the school staff and members of the Governing body.

It is a very informal meeting and a great opportunity to reflect on the events organised by the PTA during the previous year and find out how funds raised are supporting the school and our children.  The AGM is also the time that a new Committee will be elected.

This is a great opportunity for new parents to come and meet existing families and find out how you can help the PTA support the school.
